From the Telegraph of 28 May 2016: ARTHUR  His Honour Judge Sir Gavyn Arthur, died suddenly on Monday 16th May 2016 aged 64 years. Deeply mourned by his Godchildren and his many friends. A private funeral has taken place. Details of a memorial service in London to follow. Donations if desired to The British Red Cross, care of Chelsea Funeral Directors, 91 Rochester Row, Westminster.

He was hp to Sir Benjamin Nathan ARTHUR 7th & present Bt (b 1979, unm). His death means the new heir to the baronetcy is uncertain. It's either the male descendant of Sir Gavyn's uncle, Archibald John ARTHUR (b 1909, last heard of in 1951) - if such a person exists, or Robert Leonard Sigismund ARTHUR (b 1955, m with four sons). The fact that the present Baronet is not recognised as such, having failed to make good his claim and appear on The Official Roll of the Baronetage (where the title is shown as 'vacant), perhaps suggests there will be little interest in establishing who the new hp is.

The 2015 edition of Debrett's certainly mentioned the possibility of descendants of Archibald John Arthur being alive but the latest 2019 edition does not.  Maybe Debrett's have now satisfied themselves that there are no such descendants.  Robert Leonard Sigismund Arthur is clearly indicated as the current hp

I have retained copies of many (maybe all) of the Kershaw lists published, the first of which was published in September 2017.

The 2017 lists gives Robert L S A as the heir, so it was known to Kershaw at this point that Archibald had no male line descendants - maybe this was Debrett's source?
