Mr W.J.A. Plumptre and Miss J.R. George

The engagement is announced between Wyndham, eldest son of the Hon George Plumptre and Ms Alexandra Cantacuzene-Speransky, both of London, and Jennifer, daughter of Mr and Mrs Stephen George, of Limington, Somerset.

Wyndham James Alexander PLUMPTRE (born 1986) is the eldest son of the Hon (Wyndham) George PLUMPTRE (born 1956), himself 3rd son of 21st Baron FITZWALTER, and Princess Alexandra Elizabeth CANTACUZENE-SPERANSKY (born 1956), a scion of Russian nobility. (I hope others can give more details).

Jennifer Rosina GEORGE (born Q1 1986), d of Stephen A GEORGE and Roslin BENNETT.

As far as I know, she is not a princess. Her father is descended from the Cantacuzino-Măgureanu branch of the family, which is only distantly related to the Princes Cantacuzino who ruled in Wallachia and Moldavia.

Moreover, the Princes Cantacuzino who ruled in Wallachia and Moldavia are not conclusively proved to be descended from John VI Kantakouzenos, Emperor of the Byzantine Empire.

They did indeed marry in 2019 i found a video on 'Jenks & Co' entitled "Wyndham & Jennifer Plumptre's wedding 22/3/2019" & posted a message to Debretts who today have updated the said record.
