From the Telegraph of 8 April 2021: Paul Douglas died suddenly of an unheralded heart attack on Sunday 21st March 2021 aged 70. He was a perfect husband to Jilly and father to Oriel, Verity and Pip. Small funeral, family flowers only. In Paul’s memory please scatter seeds or plant wildflowers for him.
He was s of Frank MARSHALL. He m 1984 Jill Priscilla b 1949 (the wine critic & tv presenter Jilly Goolden) d of Lt Douglas Cyril Aubrey GOOLDEN 1914-2001 and Rosemary 1922-2021 d of Maj Hon Christopher William LOWTHER 1887-1935 (s of 1st Viscount ULLSWATER 1855-1949) and as her 1st h Ina Marjorie Gwendoline PELLY 1885-1969 (m 2nd 1921 (div 1948) Lord George Hugo CHOLMONDELEY, scion of the marquesses of that name, and was gt gd of Sir John Henry PELLY 1st Bt 1777-1852), and had a son and two daus as above.
