What relation, if any, of the future Countess of Pembroke to Hermione
Bullough, b 1906, who married 1931, the 5th Earl of Durham?

Hermione was the only child of Sir George Bullough, 1st Baronet (of
the Isle of Rhum, co Inverness, & The Down House, Redmarley, co
Worcester. He died in 1939 when his baronetcy became extinct.

Sir George had a half-brother, Maj Ian (Ion?) Bullough, MFH, MC (1885
- 6 June 1936). Ian was the youngest son of John Bullough of Meggernie
Castle, Perthshire, Scotland and his second wife Alexandra Marion (nee
Mackenzie of Stornoway / Isle of Lewis). Ian married (i) actress Maude
('Maudi', 'Maudie') Darrell in 1909, she died in October 1910. Maudi
Darrell was daughter of Hugh Jay Didcott. He married (ii) in 1911 (div
1930), actress Lily Elsie (1886-1962).

On their son

That's him - tall, dark, and with his wife Lady Georgina Bullough in
one picture (she's the one in the light blue shirt and tie). Is her
name Georgina or Georgiana? Some pictures had her as Lady Mary Murray

On Lady Georgina's life in Romania 1998-2002+

The capital is home to a small but swinging social scene, made up of
diplomats, businessmen, journalists and their other halves. There is a
strong Scottish contingent, one of whom is the 35-year-old daughter of
the Earl of Mansfield, Lady Georgina (Gina) Bullough of Culcreuch.

A former magazine cover-girl and regular on the hip party scene,
Bullough now spends most of her time in Romania. Her husband, John,
set up some businesses in Bucbarest seven years ago, and Gina moved
out there after their marriage in 1998. She worked on a newspaper for
a while, before setting up the fund-raising group Confidence for Kids,
with her husband and some close friends.

published in Tatler in the 1990s
