Some details of the Parsons family:

P. M. Parsons is Peter M. Parsons; I can't identify a birth record for the correct Clare E. Parsons, but per the 2005 Times marriage announcement of Renira Quinyilla N[/H.?]-W. (1973-), 'daughter of the late Major James Pollard and of Mrs Peter Parsons, of Stocklinch, Somerset' (https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/forthcoming-marriages-l9hq2jbjr7s), Renira's birth record showing mother's maiden name 'Jennings', and the 1997 marriage of Peter M. Parsons and Caroline M. D. Jennings, we can conclude he married again; furthermore, his 2009 marriage to a Mrs Frances Orme was announced in the Telegraph: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/marriages/103842/mr-p.m.-parsons-and-mrs-f.m.-orme

A Parsons family history/ genealogy site, run by a David Parsons, outlines his relationship to the actor Michael Siberry, whose mother is Joan 'née Parsons'; it also states 'his uncle is Peter Parsons who lives in the south west, near Ilminster', that being the location of Stocklinch; I've only been able to locate one Peter Parsons resident there, which is strongly corroborative. David Parsons recalls a visit by Peter, Joan, and their sister Ann (his own first cousins); the family tree on his site- although keeping the details of many living family members private- shows David Parsons's father, Martin [1907-1997; educ. Tonbridge Sch., Queens' Coll., Cantab. (B.A. 1928, M.A. 1932), ordained 1930, rector of St Kevin's, Dublin (etc), head of a church mission to the Jews of Warsaw during WWII, a tutor at London Coll. of Divinity and a lecturer in pastoralia; his wife, Emily Evelyn (1902-1997), was dau. of Edward Nixon Wynne, J.P., of Wentworth House, Wicklow, and Evelyn Caroline Annesley, dau. of Col Charles Ball(-)Acton, of Syddan House, Meath, and Eggington House, Bedfords. (BFI redirects Ball-Acton to 'Acton'), by his wife Georgina Cecilia, dau. of George Annesley, of that family of Clifford Chambers], the youngest son, to have an elder brother, William Stanley Watton Parsons (1900-1979), the details of whose two elder children are obscured, but those of the third, Ann, are given. Considering the 'first cousins' relationship David Parsons mentions, the fact that his father's eldest brother, Victor, was killed in WWI s.p., and that the other brother, Howard, had only one child, this would appear conclusive.

W. S. P. Parsons was educ. Tonbridge Sch., and was employed by the Mercantile Bank of India, including as a manager at Kuala Lumpur. He served in the Selangor Defence Force during WWII. He married in 1930, Lydie Caroline (1908-2002), dau. of Bernard Hagenzeiter [also Hagenzieker], sometime of Palembang, Sumatra; no birth records for Parsons children with this mother's maiden name appear in U.K. records; given their father's occupation, this suggests likely overseas births of Peter M. Parsons and his siblings.

He was s. of Rev. William Henry Parsons (1865-1937), vicar of St Matthias, Tulse Hill, formerly rector of Swanage, Dorset, by his wife Evelyn (1870-1964), dau. of Timothy George Watton.

Rev. W. H. Parsons's father (1831-1897; m. 1864, Hannah, dau. of Job Gould, of Worle, Somerset), grandfather (1804-1865; m. 1828, Elizabeth, dau. of Arthur Hewlett, of Wick St Lawrence) and great-grandfather (m. Mary -) were all named George, and were farmers of Wick St Lawrence, Somerset.

Forgot to add- given the notice being in the Chard and Ilminster News (30 May 2018), this presumably pertains to Peter M. Parsons: https://www.chardandilminsternews.co.uk/announcements/deaths/deaths/16257029.Peter_PARSONS/

PARSONS Peter died peacefully on Saturday 19th May at home with his wife by his side. A much loved husband, father, step dad, grandad and great grandad who will be sadly missed.
