_. Sir Christopher Pinsent, 3rd Baronet (Bt, UK, cr 1938), died at Guildford, 19 August, 2015. He was 93.

Christopher Roy Pinsent was born 2 Aug 1922, son of Sir Roy Pinsent, 2nd Baronet (1883-1978), by his wife the former Mary Tirzah Walls [d 9 Apr 1951]; married 27 June, 1951, Susan Mary, daughter of John Norton Scorer, of Fotheringay, co Northampton, by whom he had issue, a son and 2 daughters. The son, Thomas Benjamin Roy Pinsent, born 21 July, 1967, succeeds as 4th baronet.

Sir Christopher was a first cousin once removed of the Olympic oarsman Sir Matthew Pinsent.
