--. Clementine Patience Priscilla Slade (b 11 Oct, 1976, nee Sheffield), wife of Dominic Slade, gave birth to a daughter, Valentia Violet Claire, 10 December, 2013.

Dominic Slade is a son of Mr and Mrs Roger Haviland Slade, of Devon, and Clementine is a dau of the late Mr John Mulgrave Sheffield and Mrs William Scrope and stepdaughter of Mr William Scrope, of Wiltshire, scion of that ancient landed family. 

Mrs William Scrope, otherwise known as Ginny Scrope, was the former Virginia Ann Katherine (Ginny) Mitchell, elder daughter of Anthony Philip Mitchell (1919-2000) by his 1st wife Priscilla Mary Boldero. Ginny Mitchell married John Mulgrave Sheffield in 1974, and their daughter Clementine Patience Priscilla Sheffield was born on 11 October 1976; her father having died on 6 September (before her birth). In 1977, Ginny Sheffield married William James Conyers (Bill) Scrope (b. 1938 ) third son of Lt Col Adrian Scrope.

Thanks Michael. Has anyone been able to connect John Mulgrave Sheffield (1940-76) to the Bts of that name? He must be connected presumably. He was s of Maj-Gen John SHEFFIELD CB CBE (1910-87) and Mary Patience Vere (1909-94) d of Lt-Col Charles Vere NICOLL). But I can't connect them to the Sheffield Bts!
