From the Telegraph of 3 Feb 2023: LUMLEY Josephine Mary (née Harvey) died peacefully on 31st January 2023, aged 90. Beloved wife of the late Richard Lumley, so very dearly loved and will be hugely missed by her 7 children, Sarah, Caroline, Astrid, John, Christopher, Emma and Susie and her 27 grandchildren. She was d of Frank Melville HARVEY 1885-1935 by his 1918 m reg Q2 London to Dorothy Elizabeth CRIPPS 1896-1982. She m 1953 Richard Edward Walter LUMLEY 1923-2008 of Windlesham, Surrey and had two sons and five daus as above.

Her eldest dau Sarah Jane Frances b 1956 m 1985 the 6th Baron HEMPHILL b 1954, and has two sons and three daus.

Her third dau Astrid Elizabeth b 1959 m 1st 1987 Michael Piers 1959-2002 s of Lt-Cdr Geoffrey Piers ST AUBYN RN 1922-64 (gs of 1st Baron ST LEVAN 1829-1908, gt gs of 4th Marquess TOWNSHEND 1798-1863 etc etc) and Valerie Elizabeth d 1964 (with her h in an air crash) d of Wing-Cdr Bertram William Trelawny HARE RAF of Totnes, Devon, and had a son and two daus.
