Thanks Colin for correcting the record. You're right, I think that is what happened!

Yes, he was known as Benedict Fenwick, rather than Anthony Fenwick.

Came across the following in Debrett's 1990: "Gwladys Margarita Joan, b 1911; has discontinued the use of the Christian names of Gwladys Margarita Joan, and is known as Maita." She appears in company records as "Gladys (sic) Maita Joan Fenwick" resident at Oratory Lodge, Geldeston Hall, Geldeston, Beccles, Suffolk, and died 7 Dec. 2007; her death- as Maita Fenwick, corroborating her address as above and family members including David and Benedict Fenwick- at The Telegraph site: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/70968/fenwick This date of death is also that listed in company records as that on which she resigned.

Also perhaps of note: Debrett's 1990 has her marriage diss. 1959, and David Fenwick's address, per probate, as Barhams Manor, Higham, Colchester. Several sources indicate a Maj. Charles Fenwick, L.V.O., late Grenadier Guards, to now live there (the third son mentioned in the Telegraph notice above being Charles); per Debrett's 2008 he was of Higham Place, Higham. Debrett's 2011 gives a Justin Francis Quintus Fenwick (Justin the fifth son mentioned in the Telegraph notice above, which fits with his name) as of Geldeston Hall, Geldeston, Norfolk [I suppose Geldeston being right on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border explains this discrepancy].

Per Debrett's 2008, Benedict Fenwick was of Sholebroke, Towcester, Northants.
