She was d of Hon Richard Edward LYGON (1916-70, s of 7th Earl BEAUCHAMP (1872-1938), gt gs of 1st Duke of WESTMINSTER (1825-99), 2xgt gs of 2nd Duke of SUTHERLAND (1786-1861) etc etc) and Patricia Janet (1913-2007) d of Rev Thomas Kensit NORMAN of Bradford, Essex (1862-1937), scion of that gentry family formerly of Mistley Place. She m 1st 1967 (div 1976) Gerald John (1938-2008) s of Col Edward John Sutton WARD (1909-90, gs of 1st Earl of DUDLEY (1817-85)) and Margaret Susan CORBETT (1915-81) and had 2 daus. She m 2nd 1984 (as his 2nd w) her 4th cousin twice removed (both descended from 1st Marquess of STAFFORD (1721-1803) gf of 2nd Duke of SUTHERLAND (1786-1861)) Hon Sir Charles Andrew MORRISON (1932-2005) s of 1st Baron MARGADALE (1906-96) and Hon Margaret Esther Lucie SMITH (1908-80) d of 2nd Viscount HAMBLEDEN (1868-1928) and gd of 5th Earl of ARRAN (1839-1901) etc.
