From the Times of 19 August 2015: MR A S NEWALL AND MISS T M GAMMELL - The engagement is announced between Alfred, elder son of Christopher Newall of Suffolk and Jenny Newall of London, and Tess, only daughter of Patrick and Sally Gammell of East lothian.

Alfred Stirling (b 1987) s of Christopher Stirling NEWALL (b 1951 reg Q2 Surrey) and Jenifer Hylda (b 1955) d of Sir Derek Gerald RYAN 3rd Bt (1922-90) and his 1st w Penelope Anne E (later Mrs Walter Lennon) d of Reginald E (Rex) HAWKINGS of New York.

Tessa Mair (b 1987 reg Q3) d of Patrick Robertson GAMMELL (b 1955), scion of the Scots gentry family of that name of Alrick, by his 1984 m (GROS ref 768/00 0003) to Sally Jane (b 1959 GROS ref 685/06 1458) d of Geoffrey OYLER (1915-81) and Joanna Myrtle (b 1929 reg Q2 Hampshire) d of Maj Lionel Henry TORIN (c1887-1967) and (as her 2nd h) Katharine Theodora GORDON-DUFF (1903-?), scion of the Scots gentry family of that name of Park and Drummuir, and of the GLENCONNER barons.

Patrick and Sally Gammell also had a son, Rory Geoffrey (b 1986 The Times 7 Feb)
