Cory, Robert Perkins passed away in hospital on 18th February 2021, aged 78.  Adored husband of Viv, beloved father of Nikki & Andrew and devoted grandfather.  He will be hugely missed by all, but always loved and remembered.  Private funeral service.

Thanks Netty - yes I think he is. There seems to be some confusion over the exact surname this branch are using - sometimes Perkins is a middle name, others a surname.

According to additional research I did, Robert Nigel Perkins CORY m 1965 to Vivienne N LOAKE, and with her had a son and dau:  Nicola Caroline P CORY (b 1967) and Jonathan Andrew C P CORY (b 1970), who go by Nikki and Andrew respectively.

Reference to grandchildren piqued my interest as there could be a further heir in remainder if there is a son of Andrew.

Nicola m. 2001 Nigel MACLEAN, and had issue: 2 daus (born 2003/2005)

Jonathan A C PERKINS CORY m. 2005 Joanne M MARSTON.  Cannot track births after 2005 on Ancestry, but careful checking of the GRO indices (which do not give mother's maiden name for entries in the last 100 years), suggest two daus (born 2006/2009, both in Kettering which matches Electoral Roll locations).

Yes, it is fairly clear that the late Mr Cory was the Robert Nigel Perkins CORY (born 26 IV 1942) of that baronetage family. He married in 1965 (registered Q2 - Kettering) Vivienne Norah ("Viv") LOAKE (whose birth was registered in Kettering in Q1 1944), and they had two children, Nicola Caroline P ("Nikki"; birth registered Q4 1967 - Merton) and (Jonathan) Andrew Campbell Perkins (per company records, born on 3 April 1970; birth registered in Q2 that year - Wandsworth)

Mr CORY was a director, until his retirement in 1997, of Loake Brothers Limited, the well-known Northamptonshire shoe manufacturing company, which was founded by his wife's great-grandfather and his two brothers. His son, Andrew CORY, is now the managing director of the company (see https://www.loake.com/history/).
