From the Telegraph of 14 March 2018: WATSON Selina Jane (née Mather), beloved wife of Major Alastair Watson LVO and adoring mother of Sophie, Alice, Freddy and Harry, tragically died in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, on Thursday 1st March. Private funeral. No flowers. Memorial at St Peter & Paul’s, Northleach, Glos, at 2.30 p.m. on Friday 11th May.

She was d of Lt-Col Sir (David) Carol MacDonell MATHER MC MP (1919-2006) and Hon Philippa Selina BEWICKE-COPLEY (b 1925, d of 5th Baron CROMWELL DSO (1893-1966) and Freda Constance CRIPPS (1898-1979)). She m 1980 Maj Alastair Alexander Linton LVO (b 1953) s of Maj-Gen Andrew Linton WATSON CB and Mary Elizabeth RIGBY, & sometime (until 2012) Private Secretary to the Duke of YORK, and had a son and two daus.
