From the Telegraph of 2 November 2017: PORTMAN, Penny (nee Mowat) on 29th October 2017, aged 94. At home, surrounded by her family. Widow of Berkeley, mother of Celia, Rodney, Lucy, Edwina and Rachel. Memorial service on Friday, 8th December at 11.30 am at St Peter’s, Lynchmere.

She was d of Capt Francis Douglas MOWAT (1887-1938) and Gwendoline COLLIER. She m 1944 Berkeley Charles Berkeley PORTMAN (1919-2008), scion of the PORTMAN viscounts, and had a son and four daus as above.
