From the Telegraph of 20 Sep 2023: MARKS Ann Catherine (née Pinto), died peacefully at her home in Kent on 11th September, aged 103. Much loved mother of Simon, Naomi and Sarah, grandmother of Michael, Joanna, Miriam, Georgina, Leo, Susannah, Michael, Rebecca and Jake, and great-grandmother of eight. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

She was d of Maj Richard James PINTO MC 1891-1969 by his 1919 m reg Q4 London to Gladys Minna 1899-1985 d of Adolph HIRSCH 1862-1922 and Georgette SELIGMAN 1878-1972. She m 1949 as his 1^st of five wives (and before his father’s elevation to the peerage) the 2^nd Baron MARKS OF BROUGHTON 1920-98 and had a son (the present 3^rd Baron) and two daus.
