von FRIESENDORFF, Baron Sir Rickard Fredrick Knut, 11th Bt (1937-?)

The Official Roll of the Baronetage now shows the von Friesendorff Baronetcy as being vacant so the 11th Baronet must have died recently.  I have not been able to find anything on the internet at the moment.

Baron Sir Rickard Fredrick Knut von Friesendorff, 11th Baronet succeeded his father Baron Sir Claes Fredrik Wilhelm von Friesendorff, 10th Baronet in 1974 though he did not establish his claim (after the baronetcy had long been dormant) until 2018.  He m (1) 1965 (div 1972) Siv Monica ERIKSSON and (2) 1986 Eva Birgitta NEILRU.  He is succeeded by his only legitimate son (his other son being adopted):

Baron Sir Johan Fredrik von Friesendorff, 12th Baronet (though yet to prove his claim) b 1966 m 1995 Maud Charlotte JOHANSSON and they have issue:-

Baron Carl Adam Fredrik b 1993

Baron DAVID JOHAN b 1996 (twin) (ha)

Baron Rickard Ragnar b 1996 (twin)

This is maintained by Johan Fredrik von Friesendorff, presumably the new Baronet

Sir Rickard died on 21 November 2023.  On the family tree his forenames are given as Knut FREDRIK (without a C) Rickard.

It also appears that the late Baronet's adopted son Peter Gustav b 1962 has married a lady with maiden name NUUTINEN

The 7th Baronet's mother was of the de Geer af Finspång family, which seems to have Dutch as well as Swedish antecedents. Imma gonna poke around a bit.

Third in line, after Baron Rickard, is his great uncle, Baron Jan Fredrik, b. 1943.

After that, the line of succession goes through descendants of the de jure 8th Baronet.

He is technically only baronet in the UK, as a foreign title below the rank of Prince is not recognised in the UK by the law. My cousin Tom Fremantle is Baron Cottesloe, (UK)also Baron Fremantle, so created for his ancestor by a grateful European power - but it is not recognised in the UK.
