From the Telegraph of 25 April 2017: FERGUSSON  Sir Ewen GCMG, GCVO, Grand Officier, Légion d'Honneur, died peacefully on Thursday 20th April 2017 near his home in Vaison La Romaine, France. His cremation will take place on 26th April at a small family ceremony in Orange. There will be a chance to remember and celebrate his life at a later date in London.

He was s of Sir Ewen MacGregor Field FERGUSSON (1897-1974) and Winifred Evelyn BAGNALL. He m 1959 (as her 2nd h) Sara Carolyn GORDON-LENNOX (b 1933) gd of 7th Duke of RICHMOND (LENNOX & GORDON &c) (1845-1928) and had a son and two daus.
