The engagement is announced between Edward, elder son of the Hon Charles and Mrs Beaumont, of Hexham, Northumberland, and Lucinda, only daughter of the Hon David and Mrs Faulkner, of Killinchy, Co Down

 

Edward Charles (b 1983) is the elder s of the Hon Charles Richard BEAUMONT  (b 1954), son of the 3rd Viscount ALLENDALE (1922-2002) and the Hon Sarah Field ISMAY d of Gen 1st and last Baron ISMAY KG GCB CH DSO PC, and Charlotte Sybil, yst da of Lt-Col Richard Ian Griffith TAYLOR, scion of the barons BUCKLAND.

Per company records, and other internet sources, Edward and Lucinda Beaumont live in Northumberland, so it seems quite likely that Patricia has correctly identified their children.
