Brook - The engagement is announced between James, son of Mr and Mrs Jeremy Harbord, of Netheravon, Wiltshire, and Charlotte, daughter of Mrs Alison Brook, of Heathfield, East Sussex, and the late Mr David Brook, of Frensham, Surrey.

James Henry Sebastian Charles b 1988 s of Jeremy Julian HARBORD b 1953 (2xgt gs of 3^rd Baron SUFFIELD 1781-1835) and Monique Katherine Marie b 1953 d of Maj Theobald Henry Robert FETHERSTONHAUGH 1925-89 scion of that Irish gentry family and Genevieve Madeleine MOREAU 1926-2009.

The prospective bride would appear to be the daughter of David M BROOK and his wife (married 1987, as her third husband), Alison Tracey, née COOPER (born 10 IX 1944), whose first husband (married 19 V 1970, as his second wife, divorced 1974) was Sir John Patrick MacLannahan POWER, 3rd Bt (16 III 1928 - 24 V 1984). The then Lady Power was married secondly (registered Q1 1981 - Kensington) to Douglas H HINCKLEY, by whom she appears to have had one son.
