From the Telegraph of 18 Sept 2021: WOODALL Deirdre Kathleen (née Child). Died on 2nd September, aged 86, peacefully in hospital. Adored wife of the late Antony, greatly loved mother of James, Andrew and Edward; grandmother of six, and cherished sister to Diana and Jeremy. Private cremation on 22nd September. Funeral on 8th October at 11.00 am, at the Church of St Nicholas, Great Hormead...
She was d of Sir Coles John CHILD 2nd Bt 1906-71 and Sheila c1910-1964, d of Hugh MATHEWSON of Canada. She m 1959 Antony Edward 1931-2018 s of Edward Corbet WOODALL OBE 1903-72 by his 1928 m reg Q2 Yorks to Janet Inez CRAWLEY 1906-64 (scion of the CRAWLEY BOEVEY Bts and the ALDENHAM barons), and had three sons as above.
