From the Telegraph of 9 Feb 2021: PUREFOY Anthony Chetwynd MBE, died peacefully on 4th February, aged 90. Beloved husband of Doreen, much loved father of Gina, Fiona, James, William, Amy, proud grandfather of Kate, Ellie, Jake, Francesca, Juliet, Joe, Rose, Ned, Kit, Madeleine, Dominic, Daniel & Isabel. He was yr s of Mary Lillias Geraldine PUREFOY (1898-1989) sometime head of that gentry family of Shalstone and Rev Brian MEWS (1898-1963, later by deed poll PUREFOY). He m 1st (1955) Shirley Clare d of Geoffrey E TAYLOR of Holbrook, Wincanton, Somerset and had issue including a son, the actor James Brian Mark PUREFOY (b 1964, m twice with 4 children). He m 2nd 1975 (reg Q4 London) Doreen P WHITEHEAD.
