From the Telegraph and Times of 30 May 2018: FREMANTLE Commander JP, RN (Retd) - 5th Lord Cottesloe. John died peacefully at home on May 21st, aged 91, surrounded by family, friends and dogs. Devoted husband to Ann (1930-2013) and father to Betsy, Fanny and Tom. The Funeral will be held at St Swithun's Church, Swanbourne on June 12th at 2 p.m. No flowers please. All donations to St Swithun's Church or Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, Aylesbury. Enquiries: Heritage and Sons, Winslow.
He was s of 4th Baron COTTESLOE (1900-94) and his 1st w Lady Elizabeth HARRIS (1906-83, d of 5th Earl of MALMESBURY (1872-1950)) and Hon Dorothy GOUGH-CALTHORPE (1885-1972, d of 6th Baron CALTHORPE). He m 1958 Elizabeth Ann [b 1930 reg Q4 Yorkshire] d of Lt-Col Henry Shelley BARKER (1899-1970) of Walcote House, Rugby, Warwickshire by his 1930 m (reg Q1 London) to Sheila Winfired BARNES (1903-99), and had a son and two daus. His son succeeds him:
Thomas Francis Henry FREMANTLE (b 1966) [6th Baron COTTESLOE], has yet to establish his claim and appear on The Peerage Roll. He is unm. The heir presumptive is his uncle, Hon Edward Walgrave FREMANTLE (b 1961). He m 1991 Sara Elizabeth d of Lt-Cmdr Harry CHILLINGWORTH of Bembridge, Isle of Wight by his 1970 m (reg Q3 Hampshire) to Brenda M WILSON, and had a son (Henry John b 1966) and Louisa Clare (b 1994).

Of course all members of the family are barons of the Austrian Empire, at least all those descended from the father of the first lord.

Henry John FREEMANTLE, son of the hp, was born 1996, and more correctly the hp is the new Baron's half uncle.
