From the Telegraph of 20 June 2024: MILNE HOME John David Arthur peacefully on 16th June aged 84. A much loved husband, father and grandfather. Family funeral to be followed by a thanksgiving service at a later date.

He was s of Cmdr Archibald John Fitzwilliam MILNE HOME RN 1909-93 (Who’s Who) scion of that Scots gentry family (now HOME-ROBERTSON) of Wedderburn & Paxton (gt gs of 3^rd Earl of MINTO 1814-91) and Evelyn Elizabeth 1911-97 d of Cmdr Arthur Tudor DARLEY RN 1876-ka1914 by his 1910 m reg Q4 Dublin to as her 1^st h Charlotte Sinclair 1886-1968 (Mrs Oswald Hunt) d of Maj-Gen Sir Edward Sinclair MAY KCB CMG KStJ 1856-1936 sometime head of that gentry family of Rockbeare Court and his 1^st w Evelyn Mary Norburn 1861-93 d of Trehawke KEKEWICH 1823-1909 sometime head of that gentry family of Peamore (and f of Sir Trehawke Herbert KEKEWICH 1^st & only Bt 1851-1932) and Charlotte PEARD 1824-79.
