From the Telegraph of 29 April 2022: ROPNER Dr Anne. Died peacefully in hospital on 13th April 2022, aged 91 years. Loved cousin and sister of the late George and Jane Ropner. Funeral Service on Tuesday 10th May at 1.30 p.m. at St Mary’s Church, Whickham, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only, donations if desired to St Mary’s Church. She was d of Capt Cuthbert Maurice ROPNER 1905-ka1945 (gs of Sir Emil Hugo Oscar Robert ROPNER 1st Bt 1838-1924) and Dorothea Seymour 1909-94 d of Rev Robert William BELL 1877-1940 of Stamfordham, Northumberland by his m to Seymour Constance 1882-1971 d of William Nangreave MANGIN c1856-1915 by his 1881 m reg Q3 Northumberland to Constance Wilhelmina 1855-1947 (d of Oswin Addison BAKER CRESSWELL 1819-56 scion of that gentry family f/o Cresswell and Anne Seymour Conway 1818-58 d of Sir William GORDON-CUMMING 2nd Bt 1787-1854 & gt gd of FM 5th Duke of ARGYLL 1723-1806 etc etc)).
