From the Times of 22 June 2021: SMALLWOOD Guy died peacefully on 15th June 2021 aged 86. Beloved husband to Valerie, adored father to Kate, Emma and Edward and loving grandpa to Cameron, Casey, Callum, Jasper and Fiora. Private family funeral.
He was s of Capt Edward Guy Seymour SMALLWOOD 1908-42 by his 1934 m reg Q2 Herts to Perpetua Mary Forster 1911-88 d of Lawrence Evelyn DUNDAS 1876-1929 by his 1911 m reg Q4 London to Minnie Rachel HOOK c1895-1950. He m 1st 1962 (div 1971) Anne Caroline b 1938 elder dau of Lt-Col Samuel Brian Digby HOOD 1910-88 (gt gs of 3rd Viscount HOOD 1808-46) and Myrtle 1911-82 niece & adopted dau of Sir Louis Bernard BARON 1st Bt 1876-1934, and had two daus (Kate & Emma). He m 2nd 1971 reg Q4 London Valerie LAND and had a son, Edward Guy b 1979 reg Q3 London

Lawrence Evelyn DUNDAS was the brother of Ivy Muriel DUNDAS (10 X 1878 - 13 II 1941), appointed GBE in 1925, the wife (married 21 VII 1906) of Sir (Joseph) Austen CHAMBERLAIN KG (16 X 1863 - 16 III 1937), Leader of the Conservative Party from 1921 to 1922.
