She was d of 1 Baron RENWICK 1904-73 and as her 1 h Dorothy Mary 1908-2001 (Mrs Ormiston) d of Maj Harold Hartshorne PARKES 1880-1957 and Mary Elizabeth PRIMROSE 1885-1965. She m 1 1955 (div 1984) (the future) 7 Baron ASHBURTON KG KCVO 1928-2020 and had 2 sons (incl present 8 Baron) and 2 daus. She m second 1997 as his 2 w Andrew Walter George NEWBURG 1928-2018. She retained the surname Baring.
