From the Telegraph and Times of 21 May 2019: LANSDOWNE Polly, Marchioness (nee Eccles) died suddenly on 11th May, 2019 in Amsterdam aged 82. Much loved mother of Andrew and grandmother of James and Charlotte. Following the private cremation in Amsterdam, a funeral will be held in London at a date to be announced.

She was d of 1st Viscount ECCLES CH KCVO (1904-99) and Hon Sybil Frances DAWSON (1904-77, d of 1st & last Viscount DAWSON OF PENN (1865-1945)). She m 1st 1962 (div 1969) as his 1st w Capt Robin Andrew Duthac (1937-2000, The QUEEN'S 2nd cousin) s of Maj Hon James Duthac CARNEGIE TD (1910-96), scion of the FIFE dukes (descended from 10th Earl of SOUTHESK) and Claudia Katharine Angela BLACKBURN (d 2001, gd of 13th Earl of STRATHMORE & KINGHORNE), and had a son. She m 2nd 1969 (div 1978) as his 2nd w, 8th Marquess of LANSDOWNE (1912-99), no further issue.
