From the Telegraph and Times of 1 May 2013: SANDARS Professor Patrick George Henry passed away peacefully in Oxford on 26th April 2013. Very loving husband to Patricia, much loved father to Patrick and Andrew and adored grandfather to Georgia and Naomi. The Funeral Service will take place at Oxford Crematorium on Tuesday, 7th May at 2.15 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, please to Diabetes UK. He was s of Patrick Robert SANDARS OBE (1907-77), scion of that gentry family of Gate Burton Hall, and (Alice) Catherine (1911-87) d of Sir Edward Henry PELHAM KCB (1876-1949), gt gs of the 2nd Earl of CHICHESTER and gt gt gs of 5th Duke of LEEDS, and the Hon Irene LUBBOCK (1886-1961) d of 1st Baron AVEBURY. He m 1959 Patricia Barbara d of E J HALL of 116 London Road, Headington, Oxford. No issue.
