From the Telegraph of 17 April 2014: HEYWOOD-LONSDALE On March 22nd 2014, to Johanna (née Kelly) and William, a son, Francis Henry.
William (b 1970) is only s & h of Tim(othy) Claud HEYWOOD-LONSDALE (b 1937), head of that gentry family of Shavington (* see note below), and Jennifer Elizabeth (1935-2010) d of William BECK of Tabley Grange, Knutsford, Cheshire. He m [engagement announced August 2012] Johanna d of Francis KELLY of Lisclogher, Delvin co Westmeath.
Tim Heywood-Lonsdale is second but first surviving s of Lt-Col Arthur HEYWOOD-LONSDALE CBE MC JP (1900-76), sometime head of that gentry family of SHAVINGTON and scion of the HAMILTON OF DALZELL barons, and Jean Katharine HAMILTON-RUSSELL (1907-96) gd of 8th Viscount BOYNE (1830-1907), and gd of 3rd Earl of ELDON (1845-1926). She's also gt gd twice over of 2nd Earl of ELDON (1805-1854, having been ajudged insane 1853), through her m a d of 3rd Earl and her gm (Viscountess Boyne) a d of 2nd Earl. Tim's elder brother, John Henry Heywood-Lonsdale (1935-70) m 1966 (reg Q2 Shropshire) Amalia Clare d of Maj F J YATES of The Wood, Codsall Wood, Wolverhampton. No issue found.
This birth secures the succession to the headship of the family in the third generation.
