From the Telegraph of 24 April 2025: MONK BRETTON Lady Zöe Monk Bretton died peacefully at home near Montreux, Switzerland on 19th April 2025. Beloved wife of the late John Charles Third Baron Monk Bretton and mother to Christopher and Henry. Private funeral in Switzerland memorial to take place in the UK date to be announced.

She was d of Ian Douglas Murray SCOTT 1905- (gs of John SCOTT 1817-90 who was f of Sir John Edward Arthur Murray SCOTT 1847-1912 1^st & only Bt) by his 1934 m reg Q4 London to Marjorie MEAD. She m 1958 3^rd Baron MONK BRETTON 1924-2022, and had two sons (the elder s Chirstopher is the present 4^th Baron, m with two sons)
