Hugo Guy Sylvester Grimston, younger son of the Earl and Countess of
Verulam, is engaged to Gallia McDermott, the daughter of a wealthy
American banker, reports Richard Kay.
"The couple are City high-fliers - Hugo, 28, works for Greenhill, the
investment bank, and Gallia is a rising star at rival Goldman Sachs.
Lady Hermione Grimston, an aunt who lives near the family seat,
Gorhambury, at St Albans, Hertfordshire, tells me: 'All we need now is
their sister Flora to get settled.'"
