From the Telegraph of 13 March 2025: RAWSON James Humphrey Carr died peacefully on March 3rd. Beloved husband of Diana and adored father of Philippa, Mark, Henry and Deborah. Proud grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was s of Derek Rawson RAWSON 1905-80 by his 1933 1^st m reg Q2 Cheshire to Beatrice Phoebe Nanett 1911-62 s of Edward Hoyle CARR 1876-1937 by his 16 June 1904 m (St John, Baguley, Lancs) to Ethel Broughton LAWSON 1882-1970. He m 1964 reg Q1 Warks, Times 16 Jan) to Diana Rodier KERR-MUIR b 24 Dec 1938, reg Q1 1939 Cheshire, and had two sons and two daus as above. His elder dau Philippa N b 1964 reg Q4 Lancs m 1990 Brig. Philip Martin Lennox NAPIER OBE b 1964 (gt gs of Lt-Col Sir William Lennox NAPIER 3rd Bt 1867-ka1915), and had a son and three daus.
