She was d of (Edmund O'Donnell) Colley GRATTAN 1910-85 sometime head of that Irish gentry family and Faith Deborah Etrenne 1921-2009 d of Lt-Col Archibald Hugh ARBUTHNOT 1875-1957 (gt gs of Sir William ARBUTHNOT 1 Bt 1766-1829) and his 2 w Marjory BEECH 1891-1975. She m 1981 Iain Charles b 1951 reg Q3 Surrey s of Graeme Clifford MACKIE 1919-2007 by his 1948 m reg Q4 Hants to Ethel Jose RAWDON 1926-2019, and had four sons (incl Ewan b&d 1988).
