From the Telegraph of 23 May 2025: FORBES ADAM Lady Malise 'Measy', died peacefully on 20th May, aged 91. Beloved wife of the late Sir Nigel and devoted to children Lucy, Guy, Rod and Peter, 4 stepsons, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Service details to follow.

She was d of Col George ARMITAGE MC TD 1896-1979 of Newburgh House, Coxwold, Yorks. She m 1^st 1955 (William Guy) David 1924-2015 s of Sir (William) Guy ROPNER Kt 1896-1971 (gs of Sir Emil Hugo Oscar Robert ROPNER 1^st Bt 1838-1924) and Margarita d 1973 d of Sir William Cresswell GRAY 1st Bt 1867-1924 and Kate CASEBOURNE d 1953, and had 3 sons and one dau as above. She m 2^nd 1987 as his 2^nd w Sir Nigel Colin FORBES ADAM 5^th Bt 1930-2022 (gs of 3^rd Baron WENLOCK 1849-1912, as well 2xgt gs of 2^nd Marquess of WESTMINSTER 1795-1869 (who was f of 1^st Duke of WESTMINSTER 1825-99) and gt gs of 4^th Earl of HAREWOOD 1824-92, etc).
