From the Telegraph & Times of 10 April 2021: WHITE Jickey (nee de Lisle) aged 93, died peacefully at home on 2nd April 2021. Loving wife of the late Jeremy, mother of Phillippa, Juliet, Anthony and Annabel and grandmother of eight. Private family funeral on 23rd April will be live-streamed. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Queen Mother’s Clothing Guild. All enquiries and donations to John White Funeral Directors, Towcester.
She was d of Maj John Adrian Frederick MARCH PHILLIPPS DE LISLE 1891-1961, scion of the DE LISLE gentry family, and Elizabeth Muriel Smyth GUINNESS 1892-1974, scion of that Irish gentry family of co Kildare. She m 1951 Maj Jeremy Anthony 1926-2019 s of Brig Christopher Anthony WHITE 1900-69 (gt gs of 2nd Baron GIFFORD 1817-72, 2xgt gs of 1st Baron FITZHARDINGE 1788-1867 and scion of the RICHMOND & GORDON dukes, LOTHIAN marquesses, NAPIER of Merchistoun Bts, etc etc), and Flora Brookbank SCOTT 1903-82 (gd of Sir Walter SCOTT 1st Bt 1826-1910), and had a son and three daus as above.
