CHICHESTER
Dermot, most unexpectedly on 20th September 2010. Dearly loving
husband to Catherine, wonderful father to Rory, Ottilie, Sapphira,
George and Max. Private cremation followed by a Service of Celebration
at St. Leonard's Church, Bledington, Oxfordshire on Friday 1st October
at 2 p.m. All friends welcome. Donations, if wished, to the Injured
Jockey's Fund or Footsteps Foundation via www. justgiving.com/Dermot-
Chichester.
He was the son of Maj Lord Desmond Clive CHICHESTER MC (1920-2000, s
of 4th Baron TEMPLEMORE but raised to the rank of a Marquess's son in
1977, brother of 7th Marquess of DONEGALL) and his 2nd w Felicity
Stella (1921-2003) dau of Lt-Col John Fenwick HARRISON (c1884-1966)
and the Hon Margaret Olive Edith LEVY-LAWSON (d 1969, dau of 3rd Baron
BURNHAM).
He m 1st 1975 (div 1980) Frances Jane Berners (b 1955) dau of Michael
Edward Ranulph ALLSOPP (b 1930, scion of the Barons HINDLIP); he m
2ndly 1982 (div 1999, by whom he had a son and two daus) Shan dau of
Alastair Ros McINDOE of Heythrop Cottage, Wyck, Rissington, Glos; he m
3rdly 1999 (by whom he had two sons) Catherine Julie Paule dau of Erik
De CLERCQ.
