From the Telegraph and Times of 21 March 2019: PEASE William Simon, peacefully at home on 19th March, aged 93. Much loved husband of the late Elizabeth and adored uncle and great-uncle. Private cremation. An event to celebrate his life will take place at a later date.
He was s of 1st Baron WARDINGTON (1869-1950) and Hon Dorothy Charlotte FORSTER (1891-1983, d of 1st & last Baron FORSTER by his w a d of 1st Baron MONTAGU OF BEAULIEU). He m 1962 Hon Elizabeth Jane ORMSBY-GORE (1929-2004) d of 4th Baron HARLECH (1885-1964) and Lady Beatrice Edith Mildred GASCOYNE-CECIL (1891-1980) d of 4th Marquess of SALISBURY by his w a dau of 5th Earl of ARRAN. No issue. The title is now EXTINCT.
