He was s of Theodore Francis TURNER QC (1900-86) and his 1st w Hon Elizabeth Alice SCHUSTER (1902-83) d of 1st & last Baron SCHUSTER (1869-1956). He m 1st 1956 (div 1965) as her 1st h Hon Susan Margaret Neville MONEY-COUTTS (b 1933) d of 7th Baron LATYMER (1901-87) and Patience Margaret COURTENAY-THOMPSON (d 1972). He m 2nd 1965 (div 19__) (Frances) Deborah d of Rt Hon Sir David CROOM-JOHNSON DSC VRD (1914-2000), scion of the gentry family of that name of Hillbrook House, and had a further two s. He m 3rd 1995 Mrs Ingrid Maria FEAR (nee ORTNER).
