From the Telegraph of 18 Jan 2024: HENSON Thomas John Brooke MC died peacefully aged 92 at home in Norfolk on January 11th 2024. He was an Oxford scholar, decorated "call-up boy" with the Royal Norfolk Regiment in Korea, aesthete and linguist. He will be sorely missed by his beloved wife Gill, children Rupert and Lucy, grandchildren Hector, Violet, Olivia, Jasper, Tristan, Emilia and Caspian, and brother and sister Nigel and Jane. A.E. Housman will be read at his private funeral. Donations to the Royal British Legion.

He m 1961 (div _) Jennifer Caswell b 1938 d of Leonard Raymond CORNELIUS 1907-88 and Betty Kathleen CASWELL 1916-2010, and had a son and a dau as above. His son Rupert Cornelius Brooke HENSON b 1962 reg Q3 Yorks m 5 Aug 1989 (Times 7 Aug) Caroline Belinda FRISBY b 1963 scion of that gentry family f/o The Holt. Their dau OLIVIA GRACE b 1992 reg Q4 Lambeth is soon to become Her Grace The Duchess of WESTMINSTER upon her marriage to her 7^th cousin the present Duke:
