Capt John Neil Buchanan Baillie-Hamilton (1926-2009)

Capt John Neil Buchanan Baillie-Hamilton, late The Black Watch, scion
of the Earls of Haddington (E, Scot. 1619), died 15th February 2009,
aged 82. He was b 1926, son of John Edmondstone Buchanan-Baillie-
Hamilton (1874-1957), by his wife Bridget Everett Baker (d 1971); &
educated at Winchester; married 1955, Hon Caroline Barbara Coupar
Barrie (d 1978), dau of the 1st Baron Abertay; married 2ndly, 1981,
Mrs Gillian M. Macdonald; and leaves a widow and 2 children from the
1st union, John Michael (b 1958), and Alexander Neil, b 1963, and one
step-son, Andrew Macdonald; & grandchildren, Angus, Bruce, Lucy and
Rory. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday 24th February 2009 at St
Andrew's Church, Callander.
