From the Times of 2 April 2021: GARMOYLE Viscountess Juliet died peacefully on 18th March 2021 aged 55, surrounded by her family. Juliet will be greatly missed by her family, friends and colleagues. A memorial service to celebrate her quite exceptional life will be held later in the year.
She was d of Andrew Eustace PALMER b 1937 (1st cousin 3x removed of 1st Baron PALMER 1858-1948) and Davina Cecil b 1940 d of Sir Roderick Edward BARCLAY GCVO KCMG 1909-96 scion of that gentry family of Higham and Jean GLADSTONE 1912-96 scion of that Scots gentry family of Capenoch (BLGS p501). She m 1991 Hugh Sebastian Frederick CAIRNS b 1965 Viscount Garmoyle, s of 6th Earl CAIRNS b 1939 and Amanda Mary b 1944 d of Maj Edgar Fitzgerald HEATHCOAT-AMORY 1917-ka1944 (gs of Sir John HEATHCOAT-AMORY 1st Bt 1829-1914) and Sonia Myrtle DENISON 1921-99 (gt gd of 1st Baron LONDESBOROUGH 1805-60 and scion of the HEATON-ELLIS gentry family f/o Wyddiall Hall), and had a son and two daus.
