From the Telegraph of 4 Dec 2025: STOCKDALE Sylvia Mary Victoria "Vicky" (née Nicholson) died peacefully on Sunday 23rd November. Wife of the late Christopher Stockdale. She was d of Brig Claude NICHOLSON 1898-1943 scion of that gentry family of Coles Farm f/o Basing Park (as well nephew of Sir Godfrey NICHOLSON 1st & only Bt 1901-91 who was f of the LP Baroness NICHOLSON OF WINTERBOURNE b 1941) and Hon Ursula Katharine HANBURY-TRACY 1909-77 gd of 4th Baron SUDELEY 1840-1922 and scion of the DYSART earls, RUTLAND dukes etc etc. She m 1965 Christopher Minshull 1936-70 s of Lt-Col Henry Charles Minshull STOCKDALE 1902-81 scion of that gentry family of Mears Ashby Hall and Hon Margaret Violet HENDERSON 1904-76 gd of 1^st Baron FARINGDON 1850-1934, as well gd of 11^th Earl of CARNWORTH 1847-1910, etc, and had a dau.
