From the Daily Telegraph 2 April 2026 - HOLDERNESS Diana, very peacefully at home on 28th March, in her 99th year. Widow of Richard Wood, Lord Holderness, and mother of Emma Brooksbank and Edward Wood. Funeral at All Saints Church, Kirby Underdale, YO41 1QY on Monday 20th April at 2 p.m.

She was the dau of Lt-Col Edward Orlando KELLETT (1902-1943) and (m 1926) Helen Myrtle Dorothy ATHERLEY (d 1976).  She m 1947 Hon Richard Frederick WOOD (1920-2002), son of the 1st Earl of Halifax (1881-1959) and (m 1909) Lady Dorothy Evelyn Augusta ONSLOW (1885-1976) dau of the 4th Earl of Onslow.  Her h was created a life peer as Baron Holderness in 1979 having been appointed to the Privy Council in 1959.  They had a s and a d (who m the 3rd Brooksbank Baronet).
