Sarah (Sally) van Cutsem (nee McCorquodale), who died 1 August 2008,
was a scion of the McCorquodale LG family (and kin of the ext. Baron
McCorquodale of Newton), & was a kinswoman of Raine Countess Spencer,
and sister of Neil McCorquodale (b 1951), husband of Lady Sarah
Spencer, sister of Diana, Princess of Wales. She was b 1948, dau of
Alastair McCorquodale (b 5 Dec 1925), by his wife the former Rosemary
Sybil Turnor (b 1924), scion of that LG family, and the granddaughter
of a Fane scion of the Earls of Westmorland; married Geoffrey Neil van
Cutsem (b 23 Nov 1944), of that LG family, the son of Bernard van
Cutsem, by his wife Mary Compton, scion of the Marquesses of
Northampton; 2 daughters, Sophie (b 5 Aug 1975) (wife of Robert
Morley?), and Zara van Cutsem (b 1978), wife of the Hon Henry (Harry)
Noel (b 1977), a future Earl of Gainsborough son of Viscount Campden
by his wife nee Winnington scion of the Winnington Baronets. Mrs van
Cutsem leaves a grandson Edward (Ned) Noel. Thanksgiving Service at St
Andrew and St Mary Church, Stoke Rochford, Friday 8th August.
