She was d of Lt-Cdr Philip Hales PLEYDELL-BOUVERIE RNVR 1900-51 (2xgt gs of 2^nd Earl of RADNOR 1750-1828) and his 1^st w Alice Margaret (Peggy) d of William Alfred INGRAM 1876-1944 of Ling Cottage, Newtown, Newbury, Berks and Alice Edith MASON 1876-1968. She m 1949 John MARSHALL of Newbury, Berks, and had a son and a dau.
