Do we know if Fergus is the eldest son and heir to the baronetcy?

I believe Melanie Cable-Alexander is the mother of one of Lord
Snowdon's children.

Good news for this baronetcy as Debrett's 2008 is showing only 2 males
(youngest one b. 1967) in remainder after Fergus.

But Debrett's finishes the article with: 'Descendants, if any, of late
Robert Godfrey Alexander (b 1894), son of late Charles Henry
Alexander, 2nd son of late Richard Alexander-Shaw, 4th son of late
William John Alexander-Shaw (who assumed the additional surname Shaw
1846), 2nd son of 1st baronet.'

So maybe there are a few more 'undiscovered' males out there
somewhere!

Probably born out of wedlock and ineligible to succeed to the
baronetcy! It only takes and ancestor to do that and then the whole
line is gone forever in peerage succession terms. The earldom of
Banbury, the earldom of Berkley etc.
