From the Telegraph of 19 July 2023: VEREKER David William Leslie Medlicott, died suddenly at home on 9th July 2023, aged 92. Much loved and dearly missed by his sons William and Henry and all his family. Funeral at St Bartholomew's, Burwash on Thursday 10th August at 11.30 a.m. and afterwards at The Stone Barn, Spring Lane to celebrate a life well lived.

He was s of Capt Stanley Lloyd Medlicott VEREKER 1899-1967 (gt gs of 3^rd Viscount GORT 1790-1865 & 2xgt gs of 1^st Viscount GUILLAMORE 1766-1840) and Elaine Irene 1898-1982 d of John Henry EDWARDS c1878-1914 by his 1895 m (St John’s, Walthamstow) to Caroline Ann KIRBY c1878-1923. He m 1965 reg Q2 Devon Jane Elizabeth b 1935 reg Q4 London d of Alan Campbell GAIRDNER 1900-1977 by his 19 April 1933 m (St John’s, Lambeth) to Elizabeth Rosemary CRIMP 1911-96, and had two sons as above.
