Scarborough E - Laura Blond (d. Jan/ Feb 2009)

Laura Blond, nee Fleetwood-Hesketh, died last week of cancer, aged
just 56. She was the granddaughter maternally of the 11th Earl of
Scarbrough and sister of Robert Fleetwood-Hesketh, husband 2ndly of
Hon. Catherine Guinness. Her brother was also found dead, relatively
young, of an accidental drug overdose.

Laura's husband Anthony Blond's death (d. 2008 aged 79) was reported
on this group earlier. She had no biological children, but they had
adopted a son Ajith as a five-year-old orphan but had been forced to
throw him out after he robbed his parents and shot his adoptive mother
with an airgun. She has left Ajith the family home in France, where
she and Blond lived for 25 years.
