He m 1961 Patricia June b 1934 reg Q3 Durham d of Frederick Arthur BYRNE 1904-80 of Tunbridge Wells, Kent by his 1929 m reg Q3 Northumberland to Phyllis 1907-95 d of William WALKER c1881- (greengrocer) and Ada Isabella HENDERSON 1882-1971, and had a son and two daus.

Her 2nd h was Sir Hugo Gerald DE BATHE 5th Bt), both descended from Ver Rev Francoise LE BRETON 1739-1802, sometime head of the family.
