From the Telegraph of 19 March 2026: PARSONS Veronica died peacefully at home on 11th March aged 103. Adored wife of the late Christopher, mother of John, Rosie and Daphne. Loved by her 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral at All Saints Church, Odiham RG29 1LZ at 12 noon on Tuesday 14th April.

She was born in Bermuda, the dau of Maj-Gen Sir Guy de Courcy GLOVER KBE CB DSO MC 1887-1967 (s of Frances Alice de Courcy STRETTON 1860-1943 (Mrs Robert Glover) who was d of Hon Catherine Adela DE COURCY 1830-1910 (Hon Mrs Catherine Stretton) who was d 23 Baron KINGSALE 1805-47) and Vera Phoebe 1891-1983 d of Rev Thomas Morgan BELL SALTER 1859-1931 and Georgiana Mary WARD 1861-1947. 

She m 1945 (Arthur) Christopher 1919-99 s of Arthur David Clere PARSONS 1881-1955 (gs of 3 Earl of ROSSE 1800-67) and Doris 1885-1970 d of Norman Charles COOKSON 1841-1909 scion of that gentry family of Meldon Park and Phoebe NEWALL 1853-1947 scion of that gentry family of Stelling Hall, and had a son (Sir John who married a dau of 1 Viscount DILHORNE) and two daus (the elder Rosemary married a 2xgt gs of Sir John Bernard BURKE 1814-92 of the eponymous peerage and other works and of the Irish gentry family of Auberies; the younger dau married into the BATES Bts of Bellefield)

The 1939 Register of England & Wales have her DOB as 25 January 1923.
